Mission Statement

Hospitality and Tourism through quality Education, Training, and Service."
The facility, a joint venture between the European Union and the Government of Barbados, was officially opened in
1997.
This fully integrated training complex includes classrooms, kitchens, laboratories, and Resource Centre with
library and modern computers.
The Institute offers programmers at Certificate, Associate Degree and Degree levels for all categories of workers
in the Hospitality Industry, locally, regionally, and internationally. The innovative curriculum features a
modular framework allowing for a variety of entry and exit points thereby encouraging individuals to reach
their full potential and career aspirations.

while the airport can be reached in 20 minutes. Public Transport is close at hand and Taxi Services are
